Description: Framed, woven, silk tapestry “Les Rameaux”. Brought back from WWI by an ex-student of St. Arnaud, Lt. Colonel Bernard Duggan as a gift to Srs M. Alacoque Connell and M. Berchmans Kerwick in Ballarat East. The tapestry is based on a picture made by the Britany painter Elisabeth Sonrel (1874-1953), “Les Rameaux” (Palm Sunday) and “Noel des Vieux”.
